    WKU Football’s season opener at Vanderbilt will be aired nationally on the SEC Network and kick off at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, the Southeastern Conference and ESPN announced on Thursday.

    WKU head football coach Jeff Brohm has been named a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Steve Beshear. The recognition is the highest civilian honor that the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky can bestow upon an individual.
