It's not hard to tell that Dale Augenstein is a WKU graduate. His restaurant in Hilton Head Island, S.C., is like a mini-museum, full of WKU memorabilia, and he is known for hiring WKU students to work there. He attends most football and basketball games, is president-elect of the WKU Alumni Association and a member of the WKU Board of Advisors. Read More >>

Letter from the Executive Director

Greetings From the Hill!

"Thrill on the Hill" Homecoming 2010 was a memorable celebration, and I hope you were able to return home and relive your college days with both old and new friends. The WKU Spirit was definitely alive and well throughout the week! Please visit the photo gallery to see highlights.

As we approach the Thanksgiving season, I hope you will reflect on your WKU experience and recall the many ways in which WKU has had an impact on your life. WKU is a very special place, and this institution would not be what it is today without the support of alumni and friends like you. The Alumni Association is extremely thankful for the generous gift announced at Homecoming from Dale Augenstein for the new Alumni Center which will truly create a place for all WKU alumni to call home when they come back to campus.  During this season of giving, I hope you will also consider a financial gift to support the Alumni Center or another area of WKU prior to year end.  To make a gift, please Click Here and we are thankful for your generous support.

If there is anything your Alumni Association can do, please contact us at or 888-WKU-ALUM. As always, "The Spirit Makes the Master."
