purpose of Alumni College is to offer a continuing education program for
Western Kentucky University alumni to participate in campus life.
Participants stay in the residence halls, and take educational, yet fun
classes, while they relive their college years with former classmates. If you’re looking to retake Accounting
200, then Alumni College isn’t for you! Participants enjoy a variety
of classes from cooking to dancing to history and athletics.
Alumni College was started in 2002. The participants are given class
options, and choices for field trips. Each Alumni College participant
pays a set fee for three nights accommodation in one of Western’s
dormatories. All meals, transportation while on campus, classes, and
ticket reservations to all excursions are included in the cost. The
program has proven to be a tie to WKU that many alumni and friends did
not have prior to the program. Alumni College also provides an
opportunity to involve the faculty and showcase their talents.
Come join us for a fun-filled long weekend at our next Alumni College
scheduled for the summer of 2017. When did you last see your college friends?
All alumni, friends, and family of WKU are invited to Alumni College.
This program gives alumni a great opportunity to reunite with college
friends. Call them and plan your Alumni College adventure together! For
