Twenty WKU alumni among 2017 Class of Leadership Bowling Green
The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed the 2017 Class of Leadership Bowling Green, and the 31-member roster includes 20 WKU alumni.
Leadership Bowling Green, which began in 1985, is a leadership development program that involves nine sessions, beginning with a retreat in April and ending with a graduation in November. During the nine sessions, the class studies the community's strengths and challenges through lectures, discussions, tours and role-playing activities. The goal is to gain a wide knowledge about Bowling Green through an overview of a variety of community functions.
