Message from WKU Alumni Association Board President Deanna Mills ('94)

How did you first experience WKU?

As a Glasgow, Ky., native with family roots in Warren County, WKU was always in the landscape of my childhood as a place we drove by, but my middle and high school extracurricular activities brought me to the campus on a frequent basis.

A summer journalism workshop I attended as a rising high school senior made my choice to attend here undeniably firm.

From meet-up groups to regional chapters to members of the numerous University advisory groups and boards, alumni across the country volunteer in honor of their first or most impactful WKU experiences.

Your WKU Alumni Association National Board of Directors works to build the framework for our 113,360 alumni to maintain an active connection to their own WKU experience, develop new ones as an active member of our alumni community, and transfer the Spirit to others in a way that will support the growth of the University--and you, too.

I look forward to serving and growing the Spirit with you.

Take care,

Deanna Mills ('94)
