The 2009 Hall of Distinguished Alumni Class includes Mr. Romeo Crennel, Dr. Daniel McIlvoy, and Mr. Leon Page.
Each year, on Friday of Homecoming week, the WKU Alumni Association celebrates the induction of a new class into the Hall of Distinguished Alumni. The University proudly honors three alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their country, their state, and WKU. The recipients earn their awards based on leadership, loyal support, service and dedication to the University and their respective disciplines. Each year, nominations for membership in the Hall of Distinguished Alumni (HODA) are accepted through December 1 by the WKU Alumni Association Board of Directors.
