Lifetime members Dr. Don (’58) and Sandy Harrah Mansfield (’61) recently returned to campus for a special unveiling. Sandy was completely surprised to see a bench in Diddle Park with a plaque to honor and memorialize her years as a WKU Cheerleader (1957-1961).
Lifetime Member Mindy Johnson (’03, ’05) supports leadership and volunteerism at WKU
In 2003, Mindy Johnson was preparing to graduate from WKU with a degree in Interior Design. Though she loved what she had learned, she simply felt it was not the perfect fit for her. She had been active on campus and with her sorority, Chi Omega.
Western Kentucky University’s Alumni Association has seen significant growth over the past year. Amy Bingham has more on why WKU’s 100 thousand plus alums need to stay connected to their alma mater in this week’s View from the Hill.
